Rated 5 out of 5 by from This course is very well structured and includes lots of helpful information. One of the benefits of this course is that there are internal "Check your understanding" quizzes within each chapter before you take the full chapter quiz. The chapter sizes/lengths were also much more consistent that CAL Real Estate Principles. And, the printed book is organized in such a way that it is fairly easy to retrieve and find the information you need, in spite of the fact that there is no index. But, an index in the printed text would be very helpful and make the book much more usable.

I see Business Law is one of the courses required. If I took Business Law in my undergrad, would this be applicable? Or would I have to retake the course?

Asked by: erin8284
Business Law is one of the elective courses you need. You will have to get approval from the California Department of Real Estate for the course to count. Only the DRE can make that decision. https://www.dre.ca.gov/files/pdf/re4.pdf

Want to re-instate my Brokers license.  Have to take new CA Brokers Exam.  Looking for on-line classes/practice tests.  Which program fits my needs and what price.

Asked by: Erika
https://www.realestateexpress.com/real-estate-broker-license/california/ Here's a direct link to the CA Broker page. Since you are re-taking the courses, the basic package will probably work for you! Also, we are running a promo right now; if you click that link it will take you to the page, and show you your discount.

i am just wanting to be a property manager, what wopuld be the best course

Asked by: caroline
You will need to take the two required courses, Principles and Practices. It is probably best to choose our Property Management course as your third, elective course. You will need to call customer service to make Property Management your third course.

What is the 1 Year Professional Development Membership and when the 1 year starts?

Asked by: Monie
The one year professional development product is offered under our McKissock brand as CE Plus. You won’t need it until after you are licensed. You contact McKissock when you are ready to start. The one year begins the day McKissock enrolls you, not the day you register with Real Estate Express. https://www.mckissock.com/real-estate/continuing-education/california/

I already took Business Law years ago while in school. Do I need to request my transcript to show that?

Asked by: jaso
There is a possibility depending upon the state’s requirements. We recommend confirming directly with your state’s real estate commision to find out if they do and what documentation they would need exactly.

What is the fastest time that someone can receive their license?

Asked by: jj313
In CA, they allow access to your exam after 18 days. With our program, and 18 days between 3 courses would mean you could be eligible to sit for the license exam within 54 days minimum. Please keep in mind CA DRE (Department of Real Estate) response time to confirm you are eligible (meaning you send them your completion certificates) is between 4-6 weeks on average.
