General requirements

  • AGE: Prospective agent must be at least 18 years of age in order to obtain a license
  • RESIDENCY: Applicant must be a citizen of the United States or a lawfully admitted alien, and a legal resident of Texas
  • EDUCATION: 5 courses must be completed for your salesperson’s license

  • APPLICATION & FEES: File and pay your Application for Inactive Salesperson License online.
