Allied Medical Training Leads to a Promotion

Danielle Casey has a long-standing history in the medical field, having worked at various jobs since she was 16 years old. She started out as a receptionist at an ambulatory surgery center and worked her way up to an accounts receivable manager at an anesthesia billing office, but she found herself wanting more options for her career. That is when Allied Schools entered her life – she enrolled in the Advanced Medical Terminology Course to build her knowledge base and get a better job.

It worked! In the middle of her course, Casey received a promotion to office manager. She decided to continue with her studies and enroll in Allied’s Medical Coding Course so she could add a coding certification and valuable experience to her resume. She found the self-paced, online course to work best for her – with her busy schedule as a working mother, she could learn according to her own schedule. “I put my family first and it was very easy to so with this course,” said Casey.
