When Jill Pippenger’s son was born, she decided to leave her job as an elementary school teacher and stay home. Although happy to be with her child, she was still concerned about money. She soon learned about medical transcription and Allied’s 100% online medical transcription training.

Jill successfully took Allied’s Advanced Medical Terminology Course, which gave her a strong foundation in medical terminology and drug names, along with a survey of the human body and its functions. She found the course content comprehensive, and a great base for the Medical Transcriptionist Course, which she has since started. Jill’s ultimate plans are to work from home as a medical transcriptionist, so she can continue to care for her son.
