Allied Opens the Door to a New Opportunity

Cheryl Burch held many titles in her life, gaining experience in many different fields, but what she really wanted was to be secure in her career. She was a bookkeeper and a manager, she ran a small cleaning business, she was a real estate broker, and even worked as a receptionist. It might have been this last job that cast a keen eye toward a medical career.

“I knew the medical industry was growing and wanted something that would carry me into retirement and offer me the chance in the future to work at home,” said Burch.

Burch began to look for a Medical Coding program that was flexible enough for her busy schedule but could still offer her security in this growing field. It was the “Pass or Don’t Pay” Promise that helped her decide on Allied Medical School – she knew that if she passed the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) exam, it would open the door to a new career. As a result, she worked at her own pace and found that, in the end, everything fell into place.
