Nationally Accredited:

  • Distance Education and Training Council (DETC)

Allied Schools has been granted national accreditation by the distinguished Distance Education and Training Council (DETC).The Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally-recognized accrediting agency.

As defined by the DETC, accreditation, "assures students that the institution operates on a sound financial basis, has an approved program of study, qualified instructors, adequate facilities and equipment, approved recruitment and admissions policies, and advertises its courses truthfully."

Regionally Accredited:

  • Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC)
    Allied National High School has received regional accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) giving it the distinction of being an approved online high school that focuses on student learning and achievement.
  • Commission on International Trans-Regional Accreditation (CITA)
    Allied National High School is also regionally accredited by The Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation (CITA), an accrediting organization dedicated to advancing the quality of education through accreditation.

    Prior to the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education’s sunset on June 30, 2007, Allied Business Schools, Inc. was approved to operate pursuant to Section 94905 of the California Education Code.

    Since that time we have signed a voluntary agreement with the Director of the Department of Consumer Affairs agreeing to comply with state statutes, rules, and regulations which were in effect at the close of business on June 30, 2007.

American Council on Education:  

  • Many of Allied’s programs have been successfully reviewed and College Credits have been recommended by the American Council on Education’s College Credit Recommendation Service.

Approved to Operate

Prior to the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education's (BPPVE) sunset on June 30, 2007, Allied Business Schools, Inc. was granted instructional approval pursuant to California's educational code.

Allied signed a voluntary agreement with the Director of Consumer Affairs agreeing to comply with all laws, rules and regulations pertaining to a private postsecondary institution in effect as of the close of business on June 30, 2007.
